"Nurturing Talent. Building Character. Inspiring Greatness."
We identify, train, and transform young athletes from Kampala's communities — giving them not just sporting skills, but discipline, faith, education, and the confidence to rise above their circumstances and become champions in life.
Professional coaching standards matched to each athlete's age and developmental stage.
We insist on academic achievement alongside sporting development — no champion leaves school behind.
Grounded in faith in God, we build integrity, respect, and leadership in every young athlete.
Born in Kampala, serving Uganda's youth — transforming communities through the power of sport.
Hebron Sports Academy — nicknamed The Eagles — is a premier youth sports development institution based in Kampala, Uganda. Founded with a deep conviction that every child born into difficult circumstances deserves a pathway to excellence, we exist to transform the lives of young people through structured sports training, mentorship, and character development.
Our work reaches beyond the training pitch. Many of our students come from disadvantaged backgrounds in Kampala's communities, and for them, the academy is more than sport — it is a safe space, a family, and a launchpad. We combine professional football and athletic training with academic support, faith-based mentorship, and life-skills education, ensuring that every graduate emerges ready for the world.
We are building the next generation of Ugandan and African athletes — young people who are not only skilled on the pitch, but disciplined, educated, faithful, and ready to lead their communities.
The neighbourhoods of Kampala are home to thousands of talented young people whose potential has never been unlocked. Without intervention, many face a future defined by poverty, limited education, and lost opportunity. Hebron Sports Academy was established to change this story — to reach into these communities and give children a reason to believe in themselves, a structure that demands their best, and a network that carries them forward.
Our coaches and mentors regularly visit schools and neighbourhoods across Kampala to identify young talent and extend invitations to training programmes — ensuring no child's potential goes unnoticed simply because they lacked access.
We partner with local schools to provide academic tutoring, school fees support, and learning materials for athletes who struggle financially. A child who trains with us must also grow in the classroom — we hold both equally important.
Every student at Hebron is assigned a mentor — a coach or community leader who walks alongside them through personal challenges. Many of our students face difficult home situations; we commit to being a consistent, caring presence.
We create pathways for our athletes to compete in local, regional, and national tournaments — building confidence, competitive experience, and visibility. Several of our players have gone on to represent their districts and national youth teams.
We actively recruit and develop female athletes, believing that girls deserve equal access to quality sports training, mentorship, and scholarship opportunities. Our girls' programmes are growing and achieving remarkable results.
Talented athletes with financial need receive scholarships to continue their training and schooling. To date, over 100 scholarships have been awarded — each one representing a child whose future was transformed by the generosity of our supporters.
"Pastor Lukyamuzi Lwasa Cedric currently is the pastor of Christ Way church Bulindo campass
His love for the youth and young talent made him come up with Hebron sports academy.
At Hebron Sports Academy, we believe every child possesses unique potential that deserves to be discovered, nurtured, and celebrated. Through discipline, faith, hard work, and professional training, we help young athletes achieve greatness while becoming responsible, compassionate leaders in their communities. Our mission is not just to produce great athletes — it is to produce great human beings."
When we started this academy, we were moved by a simple but powerful conviction: that the children of Kampala's communities have exactly the same potential as those born into privilege — they simply need opportunity, structure, and someone who believes in them.
Every day we see that conviction confirmed. Young people who once had no direction are now disciplined, focused, and excelling — on the pitch and in the classroom. That is what drives us forward.

"Before Hebron, my son was struggling — no direction, poor school results, and mixing with the wrong crowd. Two years later, he is disciplined, focused, top of his class, and a star on the pitch. This academy literally saved my child."
"I joined the academy when I was 10 years old with no boots and no confidence. The coaches believed in me, helped me with school, and now I am representing my district team. I owe everything to Hebron."
"The work Hebron Sports Academy is doing in these communities is extraordinary. They are not just coaching football — they are changing family trajectories. I am proud to support their mission and encourage others to do the same."
